This finely engraved original & important hand coloured view of the town of Paisley, west of Glasgow in Scotland, was published in the second edition of John Slezer's 'Theatrum Scotiae', 1718.
This is an important and rare print as Slezer s Theatrum Scotiae is one of the most important records of early Scotland, the first edition being published in 1693. (Ref: Tooley; M&B)
