This
large beautifully hand coloured original antique &
contemporary (mid 18th century) map of the city of Rome
was engraved by Charles Dubuisson and published by the
famous French publisher Pierre Francois Tardieu (famous
for publishing Diderots Encyclopedie in 1779) in 1765.
An extremely detailed map of Rome with an extensive
legend of 170 buildings, landmarks and places of
interest within the walls of the city. A truly
spectacular map.
